RegioTriRhena visits Kleyling France
Reception at the new logistics centre in Village-Neuf
Freiburg, 21 April 2026 – Members of RegioTriRhena were guests at Kleyling France and were officially welcomed at the company’s premises in Village-Neuf.

The family-run medium-sized company, headquartered in Algolsheim, Alsace, showcased its operations in its new logistics hall and provided a comprehensive insight into its cross-border activities.
President Thierry Leidemer introduced the company, which was founded in 1947 in Weil am Rhein and now employs 160 people. Kleyling offers a wide range of transport solutions – including as an active member of the Europe-wide ‘Palet System’ network – as well as logistics services with a total of 21,000 m² of its own warehouse space at the Algolsheim and Village-Neuf sites. A particular focus is on measures for decarbonisation and the further development of sustainable transport concepts.
Firmly rooted in the border triangle for 75 years, the Kleyling Group is now represented at several locations in Germany and France. As a partner for cross-border transport and logistics issues, the company operates throughout the European single market. Reconciling transport with environmental protection is one of the company’s core objectives.
Smart transport solutions and multimodal transport – supported by the company’s own railway siding and its stake in the Breisach Rhine port – are integral parts of the service offering.
Co-President Jean Klinkert thanked President Leidemer and the management on behalf of the members of RegioTriRhena for the detailed company presentation. The drinks reception that followed provided an opportunity for in-depth discussions and a lively exchange of views.
